Tariffs and Payment

Payment can be made either in advance via credit/debit card, cheque, bank transfer or cash to the driver on completion of the work.

Any additional stops during the A to B trip will be charged at an additional £5 per stop. This is to cover additional waiting time, parking etc.

Passengers

Upto two passengers are allowed to travel in our vans providing there is also a load in transit. We are unable to transit passengers only.


We request that our customers disclose as much information about the proposed load as possible so we can provide a good estimation of the price and to ensure that there is no goods which we are unable to transport.

Goods we are unable to transport:

Rubble
Any load which requires a trip to the tip.
Explosive or corrosive materials.
Any illegal items.
Additional (more than two in the front) passengers.
Livestock in either the front or back of the van.

Please note that goods not listed above which the driver deems as dangerous or unsuitable for transit may be refused at the drivers discretion.

Insurance

Your goods will be insured for up to £10,000 under our Goods in Transit Policy and £1,000,000 Public Liability insurance. In line with the terms of our insurers, the first £200 (excess charge) of any claim is the customers responsibility and will be deducted from their final settlement. Full terms of this policy is available on request.

General

We will endeavour to arrive promptly at the pickup time within the agreed time. However, occasionally there may be unforeseen delays, for which we cannot be held responsible. In this case will ensure that we will inform you of the delay and will arrive as quickly as possible.

We request that our customers are packed and ready to load when we arrive. This will help us to stay on schedule and you to avoid any overtime charges. You will have the included 10 minute loading time and time over this will be charged on the meter. See Tariffs.

By making a booking with 24/7 Taxi Van you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of our service.

Parking must be arranged and is the responsibility of the customer. Any parking fines must be paid by the customer to the Driver on completion of the job

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after job is complete and payment is received
